What People Say

Most Liked

Guests rave about Hudson House's lobster roll, often described as one of the best in the city, paired with skinny fries featuring a secret Cajun seasoning that’ll keep you coming back.

The cocktails are a highlight, especially the Mexican Martini, which many agree is perfectly crafted and provides a refreshing twist to your evening.

Friendly and attentive service consistently receives high marks, with servers known for remembering drink preferences and making superb recommendations to help navigate the menu. Many diners enjoy the relaxed yet trendy vibe that makes even solo dining comfortable. Add in the great beer selection and an extensive wine list, and you have the perfect pairing for a fantastic meal.

Most Disliked

Some diners mention inconsistency in side dishes, such as the potatoes served with Eggs Benedict, which have been described as a bit too chewy at times. While the restaurant is quick to resolve these issues, it still poses a minor drawback.

During peak hours, such as Friday evenings, guests might experience a wait for a table, so planning ahead with reservations is highly advisable. This might detract from the experience if you're looking for a quick meal.

Though the lobster roll is well-liked, a few diners felt that it didn’t stand out compared to some of the more adventurous or unique dishes on the menu. Having said that, overall dissatisfaction is rare, and guests frequently return despite these minor issues.

We stopped in while visiting Fort Worth for a concert and grabbed seats at the bar. Kirby was our server and he was awesome—super friendly and attentive. Without knowing we were from Austin, he mentioned he could make a mean Mexican Martini… we were skeptical, but he delivered. It was delicious! The food hit the spot too—the burger, lobster roll, and oysters were all top notch. Great vibes, great service, and everything tasted fantastic. We’d definitely recommend and will be back next time we’re in town.

We went for brunch on Sunday and enjoyed the whole experience. We ordered the classic Eggs Benedict and the breakfast sandwich. The potato side on the eggs benedict was a little too chewy, but when we mentioned it they replaced my side and it was perfect.

Awesome first time at Hudson House, tried lobster roll but the star of the plate was skinny fries with secret Cajun seasoning. Loved the pressed Ahi tuna roll and coldest martinis. Our waiter Nick was super attentive and gave great recommendations! Highly recommend when you’re looking for fresh seafood in Fort Worth.

An unforgettable dining experience at Hudson House! We enjoyed a 4-course meal that truly exceeded expectations! Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. - The Best Roll: Even as someone who doesn’t typically lean toward sushi, I was blown away. It’s meant to be savored - rich, fresh, and incredibly balanced. My boyfriend, a self-proclaimed seafood guy, called it “the best sushi I’ve had all year.” High praise, and well-deserved! - Dynamite Shrimp: Crunchy, saucy, and bursting with flavor, this dish is an absolute must. Perfect for seafood newbies and lovers alike! - Lobster Roll: Tasty, but the least memorable dish of the night. Still solid, just didn’t have the same wow factor as the others - Chicken Parm: Phenomenal! They do not skimp on the sauce, and every bite was perfectly cheesy, rich, and satisfying. A definite 10/10 - Chocolate Silk Pie: Hands down the best dessert I’ve ever had. Silky, decadent, and somehow comforting. It was a full-on emotional experience On top of the incredible food, our server Cassidy was fantastic! She was attentive, friendly, and always made sure our drinks were full. The ambiance was elevated yet relaxed, creating the perfect setting for a memorable night out. If you’re in Fort Worth, do yourself a favor and don’t skip Hudson House. It’s divine from start to finish!

The decor is the first thing that stood out to me. It’s not always true but I’ve come to the realization that if they have great decor they so have great food and Hudson House didn’t disappoint. The sushi( both rolls) the fish tacos and the redfish were delicious. I can’t wait to come back and try the oysters!
